Offer/Order Confirmation

An offer from Højer Møbler A/S is valid for 8 days from the date of the offer unless otherwise stated in writing. The agreement is binding when the purchaser has received an order confirmation, and the purchaser is responsible for inspecting the confirmation. Following changes of the order or a supplement to the original agreement is not binding for Højer Møbler A/S without a written confirmation from the company. Changes in the contents of the confirmation must be notified in writing to Højer Møbler A/S without undue delay, and no later than 3 days from the date of the order confirmation.

Terms of payment

Unless otherwise is specified in writing, payment must be made in accordance to the terms of payment indicated on the invoice. The standard terms of payment are 14 days. If payment is not carried out as indicated, an interest of overdue payment of 1.75% per. initiated month will be collected.


Product warranty

Højer Møbler A/S offers a product warranty of 7 years (except for wearing parts). Furthermore, Højer Møbler A/S offers an additional delivery guarantee for a minimum of 10 years. However, changes may occur in colour and materials. It is possible to order spare parts 5 years after a product is removed from the market.


Test furniture

Test furniture can in some cases be provided for an agreed period. Consequently, an invoice for the total amount is issued. The amount is credited back upon return of the goods. Any costs associated with the freight costs are to be paid for by the customer.


Time of delivery and conditions

Time and conditions of delivery are in accordance with the order confirmation. When placing an order, the name and telephone number of the contact person who will be present at the time of delivery is required. The packaging of the furniture is always carried out in adequate protective packaging.


Complaints and duty of inspection

Immediately upon delivery, the buyer of Højer Møbler A/S’ products must conduct a thorough investigation of whether the goods delivered are in conformity with the order confirmation. The buyer is obliged to complain about defects without undue delay and at the latest 3 working days after delivery.

Complaint about damaged incurred in transit and other defects which are noticeable at delivery must be made in writing to the carrier upon receipt of the goods and noted on the freight bill for any possibilities of recourse against the carrier.

By any handling of complaint, please state a detailed description of the complaint, preferably with pictures. Højer Møbler A/S reserves the right to reject the complaint if the product has not been handled in what can be described as normal practice.
