Square

Square is a booth for contemplation designed to sit in a different posture. The primary function of Square is to be able to turn off the rest of the world and give the student quietude for focused work without distractions – even in situations with a high activity level around the booth.

Square is designed for one person, but smaller pupils can often find enough room for two beside one another. The sides and seat of Square are upholstered – the comfortable seat is raised by 10 cm from the floor allowing easy cleaning under the booth. As a secondary function, the top plate of Square can be used as a high table by students sitting on a stool/standing behind the booth. The back side of the booth can also be used as a small, extra space for contemplation for pupils seated on the floor. Square is ideal as a room divider because of the large sides. The booth can provide a safe place to sit for both young and older students with its massive appearance. It adds character to the room, reduces the noise level and creates an interesting room within the room.

Depending on the required functions of the booth and where it is placed in the room, 1-4 people can make use of Square at the same time.
