In an Arts and Crafts room, a cutting table is almost indispensable. The large tabletop is essential, when the rolls of fabric must be cut out for creative projects. Moreover, it is most convenient to have the rolls of fabric at hand in order to ensure a quick and easy access to the material. This helps to optimize the creative process and an easier flow in the work stream. Additionally, the cutting table is equipped with strong wheels to move the table to the place where it is needed. This could also be at another place within the school – for instance in the common area, the library and in the makerspace area during theme week. Moving the cutting table from one room to another however demands a double door.

The cutting table is extremely practical and handy, and it has a convenient working height at 90 cm. At the end of the table, stools or the Classic II working chair with footrest can be placed. This allows the pupils to change between a sitting and standing work posture.

The cutting table is delivered as two individual storage boxes in order to ensure easy access. The with of each module is 78 cm. The tabletop is easily mounted.

Construction

Manufactured in 15 mm plates with dark grey melamine on both sides. 1 compartment at one end with 6 through-going storage compartments created by 4 shelves. These 6 compartments are designed for fabric rolls. At the other end of the furniture are 14 small compartments with movable shelves for storage of cardboard and paper up to A3 format or storage of tools. The tabletop is 22 mm plywood with high pressure laminate.
