School Kastelsvej
The School at Kastelsvej in Copenhagen has gone through a thorough renovation process with two new buildings in 3 floors and in connection with the renovation, the school has updated most of the furniture. Nova 5 Arkitekter A/S was handling the project and Højer Møbler delivered all the furniture for the classrooms, the school library, staff rooms, specialized classrooms and the afterschool centre. The task was to create rooms for the different activities and to create a common thread in the interior design.
The school does now have modern and motivating surroundings, where there is room for the pupils to play and to learn at the same time and an interior design, where colours and materials create a common thread.
For the library, Højer Møbler delivered a special-designed Amfi-staircase, which can also be used as a reading cave.
